How did you find the site and what prompted you to register?

How? Like others have said I was searching for overtaking statistics and found myself spirited here
Why register? Cos the writing that came up told me to
Also Im a bit off at the moment with my usual forum, maybe time for a change.

How did you find the site?

not sure tbh probly from that place (the name of the BBC sports forum based on a 5 live sports discussion program with 3 numbers as its title should really be made a swear word IMO)

what prompted you to register?

looking for alternatives from the dark side and finding a place with Intelligent interesting discussion about motorsport with most of the sane friendly faces from the WUMs anonymous site.

*edit* being able to mention the name max Mosley without it being pulled, even if it had nothing todo with 'spankgate'

There is definitely a common theme, I'm yet another who saw the various stats links on 606 and was daft enough not to check it out immediately. Have to say the guys who put the effort into all those sats and anlysis on here have done an amazing job!

How did I find the site?
Someone mentioned that this site had overtaking statistics so I came to have a look.
Why I registered?
I can't remember. I must have had something to say. But it took me about half a year to write anything on the forum.

I think it was galahad who tipped someone else t here, and i just dropped in to have a look. I knew i had to run from 606 the day a wum angered me for being so blind. I just joined and thought, seems nice, but the complimentary moustache sealed it

I believe I was looking for overtaking figures. Whilst I belonged/belong to 606 I don't remember ever having seen CTA mentioned. Probably my observation skills. You looked nice, and amazingly lucid, so I registered.

I ashamedly found it through 606, where I have actually never posted and first throught it was cool cos of the Stats and the fantasy F1!

I too am a refugee from 606. The presence here of reasoned (?) debate and knowledgeable (?) inhabitants her got me hooked. Living in the U.S., it is frequently difficult to find other F1 fans to exchange ideas with.

I met a member of this site through other connections.. I've been watching the transformation that recently occurred with much interest. I find it quite fascinating.

To answer both questions in the title...I really don't know

I mistyped into a search, I thought it was a dating site.

I looked at all the sites and it didn't take any convincing to join this site as both the content and more importantly, the members stood head and shoulders above the rest.

Why would I want to continue attacking the WUM's and morons from 606, when all it was achieving was a massive headache for me and a dumbing down of my moral compass.

Looking forward to contributing here on CTA and learning from true F1 fans.
