I have to agree that Gurney's Spa-winning 1967 Eagle-Weslake is a beauty. I have always considered it the most beautiful open-wheel race car of all time.
The company which made the kit car I built has just made a new kit to fit a BMW Z3:
Damn....FB wire wheels would really do it, but I wouldn't really mind tooling around in a BMW that looked like that.

Safely turning corners was an optional extra that most of these cars didn't come with but in a straight line they were seriously quick. According to a 'how many left' website there are currently on 3 Hunter GLS's taxed and on the road in the UK.
