Nope, that's come from Magnussen himself so it's almost certainly correct. We've had it in the table in the first post for a little while now from other reports/rumours.

Hopefully the FIA will release a full list soon...

He says he will be running number 20 but he doesn't know for certain as he is a rookie and he gets last dibs somebody else may grab it before him and so the score could elude him like it did for Gareth Southgate one year in the penalty shot out for England...

We have at least rumoured numbers for all the confirmed drivers apart from Vettel, Hulkenberg, Sutil, Ricciardo, Gutierrez and Maldonado now.

No cares about Sutil's number as no one cares about Sutil so he's not going to run one to see if anyone notices. I reckon we'll at least get to Monaco before anyone does.

Daniel Riccardo has just tweeted his number is confirmed as 3.

I assume this means the FIA are now telling the drivers, and the public will know soon after.

1 Sebastian Vettel - Well, let's be honest, he's never going to ditch 1, but it'll be red 5 like 2010 that he'll use, just in case he needs the second most frequent title winning number. Thinks of everything...

3 Daniel Ricciardo - presumably Webber is still number 2 if he wants to come back!

44 Lewis Hamilton - apparently a number he used in karting rather than a commemoration of the Normandy Landings...

6 Nico Rosberg - Keke, 1982. The pressure on family members, eh?

14 Fernando Alonso - a lucky number for him, apparently. Also Xabi Alonso's perpetual shirt number, so maybe an Alonso 'thing'?

7 Kimi Raikkonen - I'm convinced he wrote down the first three numbers he could think of.

8 Romain Grosjean - He's had 8 more than once before, so understandable. And it always reminds me of Mika Hakkinen...

13 Pastor Maldonado - They said that if 13 was ever seen in F1 then that car would crash a lot. And so it came to be!

22 Jenson Button - Half Hamilton but double Perez. The last two years in a nutshell!

20 Kevin Magnussen - Never used by Jan Magnussen, so a good start in his "being different" drive.
