Books

Given that our sphee of available entertainment is slowly contracting in upon itself, its time to revisit those book shelves and jam your collective noses into some literature.

Any one got some great recommendations?

I would whole heartily recommend to you all the most fantastic "Rivers of London" series by Ben Aaronovitch. Its been described as Harry Potter meets CSI and, while I am not a fan of Potter, it's not a bad description.

It follows the adventures of Peter Grant, a Metropolitan Police Constable and apprentice wizard. I have read 5 books in the series so far and everyone of them is a gem. The novels are accompanied with several graphic novels if you're into your comic style books as well.

Lord of the Dance by Robin Lloyd Jones has been guaranteed a place on my shelf for the last 30 years... Really excellent book.
