Anti-doping.....really?

Right now in formula one there are a lot of rules and regulations and fancy terms that you find in a local medical journal, KERS, DRS, EBD, ST...nevermind....

I would really like it, if the commentators will really know definitively what is going on when a situation arises, without the need for long post race tribunals and the like.

Right now the rules are like the bible, totally out of my comprehension.

To me doping policy is the last of the worries.

Are you serious?

The drivers have to provide their daily whereabouts (every single day including holidays and Christmas day) to the World Anti Doping Agency who can turn up on them at any time of day without warning and escort them to the toilet to take a urine sample and any other DNA they so wish.

There are so many products and drugs that are assumed to be ok by athletes and then they get caught out as something as simple as a tiny ingredient can render you using illegal drugs and probably in the case of a driver, destroy their career.

This is an excellent thing and very responsible for the FIA to be doing. As an F1 fan I am proud of driver reputation responsibility.

I think they are confussed with the Tour de Farce, I mean Lance...sorry France.

Is this whole thread supposed to be a joke? If so I think there is a designated section for this.

Bloody Nora. Wouldn't have thought F1 drivers needing to take drugs or anything like that.

Yeah i can understand why they do it in sports like football, as performance enhancing drugs are always about. But surely an F1 driver wouldn't need to go to those lenghts, when he's driving a car.

It isn't the FIA unilaterally taking the decision to implement ANTI DOPING, this is a world wide sporting body obligation.

What is a problem is making more stances/statements for adopting stricter doping policy, while the rest of F1 is left behind the shroud of incomprehensibility, when you listen and read, nobody really knows what is going on.

Moved out of the F1 section due to the silly comments.

If you want to have a serious discussion on this then feel free to delete them and I will move it back.

I'm getting seriously pissed off at the multiple requests and warnings to the same people time and time again.
