Come on people, the sun is finally out, it's time to cheer up a little. I've been some what shocked at the negative reaction not just on here but in the country to the Olympics. It's not helped by our beloved media running as many negative stories as they can in the name of news. If it's not the security, it's the traffic, the costs, the commercial rules.... the list goes on. Oh for crying out loud I say, put a bloody sock in it and just enjoy. On a wider note, yes the economy has gone down the toilet in the last few years but do we have to be reminded of the fact every five seconds. I swear that as each day goes by the world gets a little more negative. Shit happens people, just accept the things you can't change and if you are able, then change the things you can't accept. Finally,
Good news doesn't stir up much emotion, and so doesn't sell papers. Our opinions and beliefs are manipulated by governments and media much more than we care to believe.
Ah, a chance to post the beloved Oddball in action! From one of the greatest films ever, Kelly's Heroes.
Get him indoors and dry him off FB, before he catches his death! Pop the rabbit in the shed for a couple of days and you can all enjoy it, once cooked. Is that positive enough?
Well at least that seemed to cheer you lot up and if it takes a kittens, a dead rabbit and FB's dog then so be it. Blime-oh-blinking riley everything seems like such hard work in this day and age.
On a related note I had to bat my two cats away from a dying pigeon they were trying to eat. (It ended up dead and in the bin)
We seem to have constant collection of dead things from our animals - mice, voles, rabbits, hares, pigeons, rats, squirrels, pheasant and, on one occasion, a deer. And you thought hunting with dogs was illegal.
I am always in a good mood, it just depends on others around me how good it is. Though the mood is permanently at the top of the scale right now as I have the house to myself for the weekend and my new car arrives on Saturday morning, and with still good weather to go the top will have to be down from the moment I pick it up
