Just realised the first race March 26th is the same day the clocks go forward for British Summer time. So the 5am race is effectively a 4am race. Coffee on standby.

That used to be a tradition but there never actually were any rule about that was there?

Yes, there was a rule about national racing colours however in the case of Britain and green, there was no rule regarding what shadeI. British Racing Green could be pretty much any shade.
