Enjoyed this last year so I thought we could revisit it. What do you think will happen in 2011? Serious or frivolous, I don't really mind. Here's mine:

WDC Alonso
WCC Red Bull
1 Malyasia Lotus to score points
Massa & Webber retire at the end of the season
Bernie steps down as head of FOM
Spa is wet
Abu Dhabi & Bahrain will be dry
snigger.gif

Pat Symonds & Flavio return to F1 in some capacity
Massa will have to get out of Alonso's way on 3 occasions follwoing team orders
Last year for Hungary & Valencia
Kobayashi wins a race

Based on nothing much whatsoever:

WDC Alonso
WCC Red bull
Finger-related outrage to continue (I'm looking at you FB)
Rosberg to finally win a GP
Hispania to change drivers 3 times in 3 races (if they make it)
front EBD (fEBD?) to cause political rifts amongst teams
That picture of Flavio Briatore to be posted on here (Don't make this self fulfilling!)
One of last years new teams to score point(s?)
A driver outside of the top 4 teams and Kubica on the podium
2 drivers to win their home gp
Title decided in India

WDC - Alonso
WCC - RBR
Darth Briatore to do somthing dastardly
Mercedes to be very competitive
Schumacher to drive into someone
Some technical gizmo to cause uproar
Ferrari threaten to leave
FIA decide its probably best to outlaw it
FIA to say next season will be so much better
Lotus/Virgin to score
HRT finish the season
Villeneuve/Stefanovic try to buy HRT
Bernie offends Indians

WDC Hamiton
WCC Ferrari
Pole Position for Vettel almost every race
Schumacher to win 1 grand prix
There will be a Louti crash between both makes at somepoint
Valencia will be another bore
McLaren 1-2 in Britain
"Alonso is faster than you" to come back
Blindness from EJ's trousers in HD
Some sort of technical uproar because of Red Bull part

WDC - Vettel
WCC - Red Bull
Rules regarding use of rear wings to be constantly changed until everyone is totally baffled
Front Blown Exhaust system to be banned for 2012
Massa will be constantly in the press saying he still has what it takes to drive in F1
Massa will not have what it takes to drive in F1 anymore and will be dumped leave by mutual consent at the end of this season
Mclaren will have another season of hot and cold performances
Fernandes will win his case in court but the whole thing will drag on and on
Proton will announce that Group Lotus is up for sale before the end of the season
Force India will be the suprise package of the season with a couple of podiums
Coulthard / Brundle will be the biggest mistake in F1 commentary since Palmer / Walker
HRT will either be sold or close it's doors before the end of the season.
Barichello will sign for one last year with Williams and Maldonado will score points by at least race 3
Virgin and 1Malaysia Lotus will pick up points

Alonso to win WDC.
A toss up between McLaren and Ferrari to win WCC
Kers to be a constant bone of contention, as will the new wingey things that the drivers are in charge of.
Massa to retire, as will Webber - thank God for both.
Christian Horner to be boiled in a vat of oil for not telling the truth as to what is happening in "his" garage - cos' it ain't really his is it?
Pirelli tyres, a bit of a let down and endless criticism from all concerned
An inspired commentary from MB and DC - hopefully
A happy retirement for Legard, who never really distinguished between horse racing, football and F1
The little jobs will get a few points
There will be some very wet races - Hamilton will want to race, others will pooh-pooh the idea, as it's not in their contract to put their life on the line!
There will be some very dry and sandy races
India will be a whole new experience!

Oh this changing server business... V V V Confusing... I think I might have been Charley's Dad in a past life.
Ce la vie... on with this year...

WDC: would love to see Kubica in with a shot; he deserves it.
WCC: I suspect will go where the money is so a toss up between F*****i and McC.
Best midfielder: time to be partisan and say Williams
cheer.gif
but I suspect Lotus may come good (not thr Renault bunch coz they'll have the WDC
smile.gif
) moving swiftly forward from back markers.
Want to go with Jenov for commentry comments but I fear CaT has got it right...
Race to look forward to? BGP and India... you know the atmosphere at both will be great(and for very different reasons too).
Things to look forward to? 2013 and the proper new regs instead of reheated left-overs.
Things to hope for? That Williams find a way to introduce flywheel KERS to F1

... and of course a great tight championship with even more drivers in with a shot at 3/4's distance.

Into the TBY crystal ball for 2011:

Indian GP circuit tarmacked on Thursday evening of race
Everyone to mention Jenson Button's smooth driving style
Schumacher to attempt to run someone off the road
HRT to change drivers, or fold
Christian Kolles to lie about something relating to the above
Seb Vettel to point his finger at the camera at some point this year
Kubica to finish on a podium in an underpowered Lada
Kubica to defeat Petrov
Eddie Jordan's dress sense to be banned by the UN
Kobayashi to overtake someone in a non-overtaking spot
More than 20 overtakes in Barcelona + Valencia this year
DOF_power to describe F1 as boring at least 300 times
World Title contender to bin it in the wet somewhere
That picture of Briatore banned by the EU Human Rights (Eye Bleach) Comission
Alonso to not shave massive eyebrows this year
Points for 1Malaysia or Manor
Nul points for HRT
Lewis or Seb for QWC
Lewis, Seb, Jenson, Nando or Nico for WDC
No home wins for third successive year

Everything's already been covered so here's my slightly tongue in cheek predictions:

WDC: Ambrosio
WCC: Virgin
Bahrain provides the race of the season.
Alonso to move over for Massa,
Red Bull to quit racing and go back to making drinks,
Vettel and Webber don't crash into anyone,
Brundle to walk out of the commentary box after DC drones on about RB for 2 hours.
Abu Dhabi ends the season with a stunning race.
HRT to finish the season.

WDC: Button
WCC: McLaren

Can't be bothered with any other predictions, apart from Trulli and Webber to retire, Barrichello will try to drag out another year..

Rosberg and/or Kubica to win a race
Hamilton for WDC
Mclaren for WCC
Vettel will veer right on several occasions
The Mclaren will prove to be less reliable than in previous seasons and will retire at least once when leading a race
Ferrari will prompt Massa to let Alonso past
Kobayashi will perform numerous banzai, crowd pleasing overtaking manouevres
Schumacher will recieve a warning or more about his driving conduct
The Korean GP will be disappointingly poor
Force India will grab a pole position
There will be 3 1-2s in a row
Tyre degradation will force some drivers to two-stop at several races
Trulli will be a mobile chicane to front runners as well as fellow backmarkers
Bernie will find the secret of everlasting life, much to the chagrin of everyone on CTA
Max Mosley and Flavio Braitore will have a fight to the death, much to the delight of everyone on CTA
Valencia Bahrain Spa will be voted the race of the year by CTA members

Into the TBY crystal ball for 2011:

HRT will suprise us all with a radical new car and be a regular midfield runner.
Vettel will win WDC.
Bernie will hand over the reins to his successor and just play an advisory role.
The adjustable rear wing operating zone will change constantly and the FIA will never get it right.
KERS will be proven to be very effective.
The final truth about the Lotus Renault and Team Lotus will be revealed and the truth will suprise us all.
