Hope Moyes stay's in charge for the whole length of his contract as i'm quite enjoying seeing Man United struggle, it makes a nice change after they have been dominant for the last 20 years.

Dave's checklist of things absolutely not to do 2013/14.
  • Miss out on Champions' League
  • Get knocked out of both Cups by relegation contenders
  • Lose long unbeaten runs at home against Everton, Newcastle etc.
  • Get the double done to you by City
  • and Liverpool
  • Lose to said rivals by 3 goal margins on three separate occasions - twice at home
  • Miss out on Europa League
  • Finish below Everton
  • Fail to beat bloody Fulham at home
  • Get knocked out of the Champions League by 5 clear goals
  • Sign Felaini for more than his release clause
  • Pay Rooney whatever the hell he likes
  • Concede three penalties at home all season in one game
Nearly all of them...

I've been watching the situation with that team quite closely. One bad season doesn't mean the end but I can see possible problems in the future if it continues.

I think they could quite easily end up in the same situation as Leeds. Without the champions league and not challenging for a domestic title could mean their vast number of creditors will get nervous about their investment.

It will only take one company to decide to recall their portion of the enormous debt to start a chain reaction forcing them to sell off their assets. In this case it would be the expensive players 1st, without a good team and competent manager then relegation threatens and their legion of glory supporters will jump ship and the club could crash harder than Leeds ever did.

After today it could well be Liverpool who win the Premiership this season, given the way that they have played this season i think that they would deserve to be champions..

Previously I could probably name and recognize just 2 football players, Pele and David Beckham, also the name of 1 team, Manchester United. The Barclay's Premier League broadcasts here in the States for me, has changes all of that. This year I've become a fan, and I mean a big fan, able to name and identify players from various teams, something that I couldn't do a year ago. Last weekend watching that thrilling match between Manchester City and Liverpool , showed me how exciting the sport can be.
As a fan of Liverpool, I hope they win the championship, because that match between Manchester City was just good stuff.

Absolutely soccerman17.....NBCSports pre and post game analysis are really informative and enjoyable to watch, especially highlighting goals that were made in other games of the day.

I'm hoping for a Liverpool Premier Championship win, so as to be able and hear Liverpool fans perform with gusto, their favorite song.

They do YNWA at Dortmund. Cauldron of Crazy is an apt description.

I'm hoping Klopp will turn up in the Premier League this summer, Manchester United will probably be recruiting. Shinji Kagawa is praying that that happens.

So Moyes is out and Giggs is his short term replacement.

Wonder how their investors feel about a lack of European football next season?

Didn't Alex Ferguson have a crap first season in charge? It's all a bit knee-jerk to me. Anyway, most clubs (apart from maybe Barcelona and Real Madrid) go though cycles of dominance and 'barren' years (even with Fergie in charge).

Of course, it was fun seeing Man United struggle!!

And also, good news! MK Dons broke their barren run of not scoring in 7 home games by scoring twice in the last 10 minutes against Brentford :)
