I read the preview on Speedhunters, looks to be a full field. Just going to set the recording while I remember..

Oooh yes, always love a bit of BTCC. My favourites are possibly the Ginetta Juniors though - close racing with some good overtaking and plenty of bodywork damage.

Bloody Matt Neal on pole.

If there's one guy I dislike more than any other in motorsport, it's him.

Because he's a dirty driver and a cheat.

When he conspired with another team against Plato, that was the final straw.

Well I've always been a big Plato fan, with Matt Neal in and out of my top 3.
A season to keep an eye on (as usual).

Sky + for me. taking the family out to lunch and bouncing in and out of MotoGP. Ace 125 race so far.

What a great start :D

Karma for Neal there, with someone doing to him what he is so fond of doing to others.

I left it deliberately ambiguous for those who aren't watching the racing live.

I don't have time to watch any of the support races, which is a shame as some of them are very entertaining.

A good start to the season.

Matt Neal struck lucky in the third race with the reverse grid.

Based on what I saw today, Plato is going to have a hard time defending his title against the turbo-powered cars.
The speed difference on the straight was immense.

Do they usually pluck a ball out of the pot to boost someone up the grid? I've never really watched BTCC before..

The third race is a reverse grid and the actual system used seems to change quite frequently

I must admit I'm not a fan of it and the spinning wheel/bag of balls is very amateurish and unprofessional.
