Site Suggestions & Updates

Yes, canis, I've just had a look at the stat's and although there is a rise, as it's not a busy site, it's not going to cause any issues.

You can clearly see when it was implemented.

It's currently set to ping the server every 10 seconds (per member) but that can be changed (to e.g. 20s or 30s) if/when it starts to become an issue.

The Pits, that already exists but it's a subscription service only.

Ever wondered what you've posted in a thread, without actually opening the thread and entering the search criteria in the search form at the top right?
Well now you can find out quickly and easily.

Click on your mini-me in any thread list.

Tiny little question site god, would it be possible to add the like feature to replies to posts against your profile comments. I love the fact these are now open and visible to all. When people respond in comment to your profile post, it would be nice to have the like option. No big shakes, just a thought really.

Unfortunately that's not an option which is available.

It would require custom development and as there isn't a like handler for the profile post comment type, it would be very hacky.

Edit: I should add I considered writing it (the add-on) the other day, but I'm going to wait until XenForo 2.0 is released in the hope that the core code will support it.

I think the news story bit at the bottom of the home screen might have a fault. Under the 'Formula 1' section the stories haven't updated since 'Australian Grand Prix preview'

The others seem fine though.

I think you mean this?

If so, that is another casualty of the F1 site update.

****ing arseholes!

Whoever did the revamp of that site should be ****ing shot!

I can't actually find an RSS feed for the news headlines now so I may just have to remove it.

Edit: I replaced it with the FIA feed, which isn't exclusively F1, but then maybe that's a good thing.

I have a very small suggestion (I hope). I like the twitter feed on the home page but without scrolling down it's usually mostly hidden by the news ticker above it. Personally I find the twitter feed more interesting (it's updated more frequently and you get some snippets you don't see on news sites, which I usually check away from CTA anyway) so I'd prefer it to be above the news ticker.

If it helps, I could remove the profile posts block and increase the height of the Twitter feed, allowing more content to be shown?
