As we have a place for past teams now I thought I'd open the forum by doing a thread on who I consider to be the worst F1 team ever! Andrea Sassetti bought the old Coloni team, did a deal with Simtek for the unused 1990 Brabham Chassie and set about starting a bright future for his new Andra Moda Formula One team with drivers Alex Caffi and Enrico Bertaggia at the helm for the 1992 season They turn up in South Africa the first race and oh dear the cars aren't built yet. Oh well use the old ones! "ermmmm Mr Sassetti you owe us $100,000 for entering a new team." "We're not a new team argues we just have new cars, new engines, new owners, new colours and a new name thats all!" "Yeah whatever your excluded." "Crumbs!" Oh well not a great...
The Aston Martin F1 Team, formerly known as Racing Point, formerly known as Force India, formerly known as Spyker F1, formerly known as Midland F1, formerly known as Jordan Grand Prix, is a formula 1 team based just outside the gates of the Silverstone race circuit in Northamptonshire, UK. Despite the numerous name changes the team are still based in the very same factory created by Eddie Jordan decades ago. The Aston Martin name returns to F1 as a team name for the first time since 1960. Aston Martin competed in six World Championship Grand Prix between 1959 and 1960 and scored no points. Team owner Lance Stroll will be hoping for more of a return on his investment this time. Coming off the back of the 2020 season where the team...
When you consider the names of Formula One teams that are not in Formula One anymore, the entry list has a few glaring omissions. Lotus really should be one of them but Formula One is missing the name of one of its great teams and one of its great champions. Brabham's history can be split into three sections. The first was the time of the man himself, Sir Jack. They won a couple of titles in the mid-60s, with Sir Jack the only man to win a World Title with his own team, and it seems unlikely that will ever be repeated. Denny Hulme is the only man to literally beat his boss to the world title in 1967, and unsatisfied he moved to McLaren to try again! The second is Bernie's Brabham, which had run Niki Lauda up to his retirement but is...

From the start of the 2016 season we will be able to welcome the Haas F1 Team into the F1 fold. They have just announced one of their drivers in a live stream on their website a really good signing with the talent that is Roman Grosjean. No word of the second driver as yet. Stewart Haas Racing in NASCAR already stands the team in good stead to getting off to a flying start. These guys know how to race. In turn they also have one of the best wind tunnels in the world and CNC factories at their beck and call as part of the Haas empire. They seem to think they can hit the ground running and score points in their first season. I say good luck to them.
