No matter what race it is, whether the championship's over or not and whatever the results are likely to be (Vettel on pole and winning) you still watch every minute of Q and every lap of the Race.
Haha - I like this one. You know your obsessed when you get up and watch all the build up before the beginning of the race in the middle of the night for both the Qualifying and Race.
You know you are obsessed with F1, when you tell your brother (in the future) to make his wedding day on a non-F1 weekend
You know you're obsessed with F1 when you read the FIA Sporting and Technical Regulations, including appendices, at least once before the season starts and thence prior to every race weekend. ......... Like I do .....
A friend of mine organised his wedding a few years ago so that he could have a stag do at Silverstone for the GP. That was the entire reasoning around the date he picked...
If I were your teacher Id give you full marks for creativity and ask for a report about it for your assignment
If you were studying sculpture I'd tell you to get back into class and would use the Merc as an example of what you might end up producing with the wrong influences.
Obviously! Who wouldn't... Luckily you aren't, and it would be half hearted along the lines of 'It was silver, with a step at the nose, with a nice front wing...' And the rest of the presentation on beautifully designed F1 cars!
I have ways and means of dealing with pupils who are half hearted about what they do...especially when I know the topic is something they enjoy and are passionate about!!
when you refer to yourself as the Michael Schumacher of Mario Kart and your friends stare at you cluelessly
.... when you follow the alert pointing you to the Lewis Hamilton thread despite what you know what you will see.
.....when you look back and accept that the most exciting sporting drama, what you secretly yearn for, what you love most was the last lap of the last race in 2008 ( unless you are Massas old man )
