If this is true, then what does it mean for Buemi? Will he get a few practice sessions for the upcoming season? Will he replace Webber if Webber leaves next season?

Who was Red Bull's reserve last season? I know Coulthard was for the 2009 season as for after that I don't know.

I think it means if one of the regular drivers gets injured, he's the backup. I very much doubt they would let him run in practice, or that he would be the man in 'pole position' to replace Webber - they'd surely want someone race-fresh.

Last year it was Daniel Ricciardo. In 2010 it was shared between Ricciardo and Brendon Hartley.

Apparently he will be the reserve driver for Toro Rosso aswell...

He's that good, that he has two roles at one time! :D

    teabagyokel Maldo?

Intrersting that Moose will get this role and Squire won't. Is Squire too annoyed or is he simply off to Have a Real good Time?

Well at least the moose has a job to go too I guess. Makes sense for Red Bull/Toro Rosso to keep the steady hand there as back up - I reckon he's there incase Ricciardo or Vergne bomb big time because they know he'll get results.

Bit degrading for the Moose though if you think about it. "hey we don't want you in our race seat but feel free to hang around and develop the car for the drivers we think are better than you and if any of them gets a cold or summit then we'll draft you in"

I guess being in the paddock still could open up other drives though - always seems to work for Pedro De La Rosa.

As for the Squire I'd say he's sticking his neck out for the Williams drive and leaving HRT as his possible fall back.

I wondered if he'd have a bash at Le Mans - hope that Toyota doesn't let him down!

Buemi seems to have been relegated from reserve driver to photographer/sent to spy on other teams on track.
