gethinceri Not In Switzerland Any More

Why the **** did they let them in at all?
Rubbish bunch of third rate toss pots.

EDIT I have been drinking. Otherwise I'd've called them useless ****s.

    aha! http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/97503

So they found they're young driver with a bit of talent (Clos) but discovered he didn't have enough money! So they bung him as reserve and wait to see what gives first - De La Rosa's race skills or Karthikeyen's money!

Hands up who thinks Clos will make his debut before the end of the season?

What an unfortunate situations for Clos. I enjoyed watching him in GP2 last year. Hopefully he can use HRT as a stepping stone to something bigger and better.

So, as usual, HRT start the season with 4 contracted drivers...

Yeah Liuzzi's been quiet since the Karthakeyen announcement - odds on he ends up in the endurance series though I reckon.

Agreed Bill, but they are the worst of the current crop. Marussia got seduced by the fool with the CFD, I think their car will be much better this year and they look to be a far more professional team. Everyone else on the grid stands head and shoulders above HRT.

Can't argue with that. Hopefully they will be able to get a bit closer to the pack this year, after all it's easier to get a very slow car ten seconds a lap faster than it is to do the same with a Red Bull.

    Johnny Carwash Points Scorer

Must be a record for HRT that they have made it to pre-season testing.

First time with the new car so they are on the up - question remains will Marussia be there coz if they ain't despite all the bad press HRT have been getting I'd put them in front of the Ruskies!

What also makes this Hispania Racing situation even more infuriating, is the fact that Pro-Drive and Dave Richards, probably the best prpared of 2010 hopefuls, was given the cold sholder and rejected, by that damn vindictive.....Mosley!
  5. Westy Test Driver

I think it looks good too. Sleek

Dave Richards?!?!?! run for the hills! Pro-Drive would have been dead by now the whole thing was based around customer cars!

Wasn't Richards given a 2008 spot? Thats why he wasn't selected...

Yep. Pro-Drive and Richards were given the 2008 spot over Paul Stoddart and European Minardi but when it was ruled that customer cars were not allowed anymore they just pulled out all together. They'd be planning to just buy Mclaren's car and run that. European Minardi tried to argue that as Pro Drive weren't taking up their spot they should take the grid but these were the days of Max so it didn't happen.

(Although Max allowed Fernandes in 2 years later when Toyota dropped out!)
